I got comments a few times over my letter spacing being problematic. For the last few pages I've been paying more attention to space letters regularly and leave slightly larger gaps between words, but I don't see much of a difference. Can anybody who had a problem with those tell me if it's any better, or if I need to try something else?
Yeah, I know what a pain it is, lettering by hand. I tried it for a while, but found digital was a lot easier to work with.
It looks good, but there are a few spots where the letters bump up too closely to the edge of the word balloon.
I used to type by computer, but it was longer and clashed with the drawing, so I eventually changed it. Maybe in the future, I'll go back and hand-letter the old pages... but I wouldn't bet on it. I still have typoes to fix in old pages, if that gets to linger on my to-do list, redoing whole dialogues is unlikely!
Fitting text in baloons is a whole other problem, due to the translation, bur I like to believe I get it better than I used to.
I like your new lettering, but I didn't have a problem with your old style either.
Well, it isn't exactly a new lettering, it's pretty much the same actually, I'm just trying to pay more attention to letter and word spacing. So ideally, people who saw no problem with it would notice no difference, and people who did would find it better. I think it'll take some habit to make it really uniform though.
