These two guys aren't important characters. They're extensively introduced because that's what you do with important men, but that doesn't make them more than minor characters.
Though it's telling that a warlord's son and a general are the most important men in a tribe.
Woodland politics. I prefer them myself. Usually much more straight forward than the urban political scene.
The prince seems like an pleasant enough fella. The General looks a bit more skeptical. They seem to be a good pair for decision making.
Don't you forget... they BOTH are politicians! O:
A prince and a general! How important!
Too bad they're not really relevant to the plot!
But ah, deer meat.
I've never tried it before. Kinda curious~
Also I LOVE that little lizard. He looks so proud being a fairies' loyal steed.
If you know anyone who hunts, ask them for some, it's worth it.
Note that farmed deer exists too, but it's not nearly as good. It's mostly the variety of plants they eat that gives so much flavour to wild animals. Deer fed on grain doesn't taste much different from beef.
