It's not that crazy when it works perfectly!
Good lord... seriously, what is wrong with that girl?!!!
This scene originally had one more page explaining the whole thing, but I cancelled it because it was too many walls of text for what it added.
Remember though, this girl was introduced as part of a gang of incompetent killers sent to get rid of the trolls who raided shipments to the leprechauns. She saw nothing wrong with sending Liroj and Bot to likely starve to death at sea, didn't show grief about Louis's death, and resented the leprechauns for not being thrilled at the idea of being caught in the crossfire.
Because of that deleted page (ending the scene now) I'm not going to spell out what's her problem just now, but she already did several things one doesn't do without being messed up in some ways.
... she stopped to bite her own arm, suck up a mouthful of blood so she could spit it at John...
She could have just hiked up her skirt a little to distract him, then spit in his face. I think that would have done the trick just as well.
Not her, she was all about gnawing at her own arm...yeah, this girl is a real wack-a-do.
Unless...well, lets just say I have been reading the zombie survival guide lately...could this be...but no...and yet...it might be the start of something really nasty!
Quarantine that GIRL!!!!!
Oh dear, a zombie infection in this world would be the worst!
Building-tearing zombie trolls, tiny flying zombie fairies, and worst of it all, zombie GNOMES.
I like how John is impressed with the impromptu escape maneuver. Nobody would expect that indeed!
That's what makes it effective!
In this comic, insanity doesn't automatically mean inefficiency. It takes a fairly crazy person to attempt this, but the other option is to let the police get her and maybe end up in prison!
