"Five days" to recover from blood loss:
It only takes a few hours to restore blood's volume and pressure, but the cells are slower to replace. After that, the person is still weak but no longer in danger of going into shock. They're dehydrated though, that needs fixing. Decreased oxygen causes the kidneys to secrete EPO that stimulates stem cells into forming more red bloodcells. Immature cells are expelled into bloodstream. After three days, a blood sample would show a good proportion of large, young cells. A healthy person has enough iron reserves to replace more than the amount of blood one can lose at once without dying, so nutrients aren't an issue. After five days, a blood sample would clearly show that the cells are younger than normal, and still in decreased number, but the person would be back on foot and not feeling the difference unless they really strain themselves. After fifteen days, blood is back to normal and even a doctor wouldn't tell the difference.
Or, everytime you bring real world science into SF/F, god kills a catgirl.
