You know when they say about bringing a knife to a gunfight? Yeah, it's overkill. A scowl is plenty enough.
It's always about that ol' bottom line. ;)
The money, or the quality of life?
Crime may pay, but it comes at a cost...
Like any other job actually. <_<
Pekka's got some balls standing up to an armed drunk doctor! Go to bed, Seppo!
To mitigate it a little, he knows Seppo well, so if he doesn't expect him to shoot, it's probably for a reason!
Hmmmm...I cant be sure, but Seppo might have a little more going on, on the sly, and he is worried he will lose more than anyone knows about.
Overreacting and pulling out a gun on someone over a mere reflexion doesn't sound like the best way to be discrete though...
Well, I had thought I had detected a bit of desperation in his actions. Desperate people do dumb things.
He certainly is *defensive* there. Desperate, I don't know. He doesn't expect Pekka to dare do anything seriously bold, but on the other hand, he knows his business is precarious and even someone who isn't bold at all could do a lot of damage. Maybe it IS a form of desperation. His interests are never in imminent danger, but they're constantly somewhat precarious. It ought to be stressful!
