In my drawing style, blood stains can be pretty detail-obscuring. After Þrym's off-screen actions, it'd be hard to see what's going on. The shortest way to fixing that was saying that somebody cleaned her up when she arrived. He probably left a clean dress nearby, but she won't be looking for it for the next pages, she has more on her mind.
I'd say she's a formidable one, regardless of the situation.
Indeed, we're not done hearing about her.
Very interesting character development! Ellen is in a rough situation which leaves Þrym vulnerable too.
Also, this page looks really good too! You captured the nighttime look very well :D
I had to shade a lot not to leave the lighted parts of the pictures looking too bright in comparison, but now, the upcoming non shaded pages look flat. It'll take a while before I completely figure out how I want to draw different kinds of scenes; as it is now, the various backgrounds end up looking so different it's not even the same style!
Oh yeah, nice job with the environment and narrative. This is a solid, well done page!
I tried playing with darkness for the whole scene.
Part because very dark pages are nice to look at, part because concealing shadows can be used to save a character's modesty.
To be honest, I wasn't too good at the last one. Balancing showing too much skin and hiding too much expression wasn't easy, and I spilled over both sides.
